Big Brother: Coup D’Etat,PoV,Alliances

Aug 03

So whats up with the BB house this week Tommy?  Ahh well you know, lil bit of this, lil bit of that!  But for real people what a helluva week this one has been in the Big Brother house!  There is a bit of spoilage in here folks so if you wish to live the life of the unaware serial episode watcher, then begone now kind sir or ma’am!

First things first, last Thursday the HoH competition went off with Russell bringing it down.  He did cut a deal with Jeff, however, with Jeff appearing to be the better off for wear in that comp.  Jeff seemed to feel for the guy to be honest giving it up to Russ when he heard the sob story bout how Russ just wanted a letter from his pops.  Stupid, whatever, ok I’m an asshole!  But it does help out Jeff in the long term by giving him an in with Russ.  The two actually made an alliance up in the HoH room which will do well for the both of them.  I must say I have an ever growing respect for Russell the LoveMuscle.  In the begining I just thought he was all dumbass no brains, now I’m thinking he might be a 70/30 mix and that he’s gotten some lucky moves in despite his muscular mentality.

So the Coup D’Etat, who will win this most powerful of powers?  Jeff will of course!  America loves this guy and discussion on the CBS BB Forums are all pointing to our man Jeff winning the Coup.  He’ll not be using that this week though because Jeff has positioned himself quite well with his work with Russ.  Russ put up Lydia and Ronnie so his girl Jordan and himself are both safe.  Jeff does need to sit back and contemplate exactly how to use this power though.  It seems like Jeff is a player and student of the game though, so I am betting he’ll be thinking along these lines.  With this power he should throw the next HoH.  Even hope that Jordan doesn’t win either.  Why?  Because we want to be able to use this power for all we can and we want to ensure that someone we want to go home will go home!  The only way to ensure that this happens is to rock the vote, pull the people off the block before the eviction votes and put up the two you want to go home!  One of them will and the house won’t be able to come together and do one of the now famous block votes which suck.  The best possible scenario would be if

Chima won HoH this week and puts up Jeff and Jordan.  Imagine that scenario Jeff chills out all week then at the last minute pulls himself and Jordan off the block putting up Jesse and Nat.  LoL…. Good stuff.  Its all conjecture but here is hoping to a great week coming up in BB!

PoV was run on Saturday with Michelle winning.  She is definitely showing that she is there to play, but at the same time I just can’t get myself to like her all that much.  I mean she’s better then the Scrappy Meathead crew but she just doesn’t have the smooth player ability.  She’s transparant in other words, smart but unable to veil her intentions.  She’ll just keep things the way they are though as she is no fan of the ratman Ronnie.

So when the dust settles come Thursday night, even with Ronnie imploring America to please give him the power and even with Ronnie branding himself the King Cobra of the house, you will go home sir.  So I send you a shout out now Ronnie, your fault in the game was your ally’s you screwed over the people that could have led you to the endgame, you attempted to ally with everyone.  These things alone were not all that bad, the bad came when you let people find out all the maneuvering you were doing.  The key to successful gameplay sir is to be swift, silent, and deadly.  Take er ez Ronbo you made things spicey!
